Reasons to remove limits on learning
Currently, there is a limit to how many lessons can be completed per day within a single course. However, more lessons can be completed per day if the user switches to a different course. The restriction seems pointless since there’s a loophole. Also, allowing the user to complete any number of lessons per day within a single course would be ideal. I understand the reason for the restriction is the Hadith. Yet, the user should have the freedom to follow the Hadith, since he/she can choose to follow Islam. Following the practices of Islam should be encouraged, but not forced, since there is no compulsion in religion. Moreover, new mothers with infants whose sleep cycle is like a rollercoaster should be able to complete as many lessons as possible while the baby sleeps. Once the baby wakes up, the mother’s time is very restricted due to the nature of carrying for an infant. Allowing the user to complete as many lessons within a single course would be helpful and beneficial.

More than 1 Fiqh lesson a day
I can do only 1 Fiqh lesson a day, however I am able to do multiple of Aqeedah etc.
I understand the reasons behind the limit however it should be changed for the benefit of user who are paying the subscription.
At minimum there should be 2- 3 Fiqh lessons a day allowed.
Please make this change. It's disheartening only being able to do 1.

Salaam Iftikar,
This is unusual! You should be able to do multiple lessons whether it is in the fiqh course or otherwise. Could you drop us an email at salaam@jibreel.app so we can look into this.
Or update us if this has since been resolved!
We tried to recreate it on our side but were unable to so we do need to look into it further!

More than one lesson a day
Allow a user to be able to do more than one lesson per day
Reason being some users may not have learned new information and already know some stuff (like at the beginning).
Maybe a warning to the user on not to overload on new information but allow them to bypass if they wish

+1, it makes no sense to pay a subscription only to do a lesson per day, even Duolingo doesn’t do this to paying customers.

I agree, would be useful to have a skip daily 1 lesson limit button or to remove the daily limit all together

PinnedSalaam! Thank you for submitting this suggestion :)
We completely understand the request to do multiple lessons in one go! The reason for limiting to one lesson a day is mainly based on the hadeeth “The most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little”!
In addition, we are in the very early stages of Jibreel. Each lesson is carefully curated with heavy scholarly input! Unlike other apps (like Duolingo) that can AI generate hundreds of lessons easily we can’t do that. As our content expands we will inshaAllah expand this limit to 2/3 lessons however with the warning and encouragement to stick to just one a day (as per the hadeeth).
Lastly, from an education perspective the research shows that spaced repetition (i.e. learning information in a spaced out manner) is much more effective for memory learning and retention.
inshaAllah these three reasons can explain why we’ve chosen this! We will update here if anything changes inshaAllah :)
Kind regards,

UPDATE 🚨
Alhamdullilah Jibreel has continued to grow since our launch a few months ago and we’re happy to announce two new changes:
Relaxed Lesson Restrictions - the “one-lesson-a-day” restriction has been removed. You can now do multiple lessons a day (some restrictions remain in place however to avoid bad habits and abuse!).
Review Weak Content/Lessons - the idea for Jibreel is to help you learn your fard ayn (obligatory knowledge), remember it and apply it! This means reviewing old lessons, particularly weak lessons where you didn’t perform great. You need to do at least 10 lessons to unlock this feature.
Barakallahu feekum!

The limitation is still there. How can I bypass it. I paid the subscription. 1 lesson a day is not practical.

Salaam 👋
Alhamdullilah since our launch Jibreel has expanded it’s library of courses and content significantly! We also acknowledge that people do like to switch between courses to keep things fresh.
That’s why we’ve:
1. Increased the daily lesson limit substantially
2. Allow you to switch courses whenever you like
This way you can do multiple lessons, across multiple courses, everyday!

As-salamu alaykum. Thank you so much for your feedback. We always appreciate it.
We have made two significant changes:
You can now do multiple lessons for the same course every day.
You can also switch courses as much as you like
This means that you can do multiple lessons and multiple courses every single day.
We do encourage people to do things in small and regular bites.
This is, after all, what we recommended in Islam. We understand, though, that sometimes people do have a lot of down time and would like to do more lessons in one go.
We understand that you feel that it's a loophole to be able to do more lessons by just switching courses; however, this is done on purpose. Partially, it's because of the way the system is set up. But also partially because it stops you from trying to do too many lessons and say a very content-heavy and memorization-heavy course like Fiqh.
At least if you would like to carry on, you can do something that is considered less memory-heavy, like the rights of parents.
Inshallah, as Jabril grows, we'll be able to increase lesson limit but we will continue to encourage people to take a break once they've done a few lessons!

I completely agree, it should be a choice how how much you can learn and when you want too . It’s feels controlled
