Not enough references in the lessons

The lessons are great so far, but given the purpose of this app is to assist in one learning fiqh and inshallah spreading that knowledge, I would at least expect there to be more points of references for the things that are taught. For example, in the lesson for Ghusl, it talks about doing ghusl after various things such as intercourse, getting mud in your self, after menstruation etc - no arguments here. But what’s the source so when we take this information and teach it to others, we have a source to back us up?

More questions

I really like the lessons masha’Allah. I think they’re great it terms of content. I feel they just need a bit more questions. Duolingo for an example has lots of questions per lesson, even repetitive ones, because they help with long term memory.

Paid Subscription

I pay $19 a month with tax only to be able to do 3 lessons a day. That restriction needs to be lifted. My money, my pace

Misinformation

One of the lessons about fasting says if you eat while fasting forgetfully, fast is broken and you need to make it up however many scholars do not agree on this, please look into this and provide a response on how this will be dealt

Mislead and misold

Salam Please could the number of lessons per day restriction be lifted. It feels quite controlling to me as I feel this should have been told to be before you took my annual charge I feel like I’ve been mislead and mis sold . As how many Muslim would actually subscribe if they knew that they only can do 3 lessons per day.

Add arabic language

During Ramadan, it would be good if more lessons can be completed in a day instead of locking after 2/3

Can we get an option to change how many lessons we could do a day, 3 is way too little, thanks

Other Languages

It would be good if there were other languages ​​to choose from, as I come from Germany and my English isn't good enough to understand everything.

New lessons

I have been paying since the inception of this project. Recently I have started questioning the value of the subscription considering that newer lesson have all but come to a complete standstill especially this past month. I understand that you have been busy elsewhere, but you must lengthen the subscription time without new lessons or the value of the subscription is completely lost.

More madhabs

Salam, this is a very good app. But I’d like for there to be content from all four madhabs and you can choose which school of thought you follow. At the moment, I can only see the Hanafi madhab and this is not what I follow

Localization

Are there any plans to localize the app in Arabic as well? If not, it would be great if I can view hadith references in Arabic

Favourites/save feature

Add a little heart or something for each page, so that you can save specific pages and access them or just keep track.

Offline work

Salaam, Masha’Allah this app has been very helpful, so massive well done to Aboud and the team for this effort. May Allah swt reward you. I’m currently on a free trial (and will be extending Insha’Allah) - I tried to access content on my tube commute, however wouldn’t load. I take it the content is accessed as online content. It would be great if the content could be downloadable for offline use? JazakAllah Khair

Daily Quizzes on content the user has already completed + some they haven’t to test the user and ensure lessons are deeply learned Adds additional content to just the lesson a day model

Can you create a feature where we could ask questions about the lessons or what we don’t understand and the scholars can answer those questions? Thanks

Streak

If you begin the lesson and finish it after midnight it should count as the ‘previous day’ this becomes frustrating as I’ll press complete lesson at 59/00 and it’ll restart my streak

“Lesson completed” slide says “I’m commited”. “Committed” should have two “t”s.

Reasons to remove limits on learning

Currently, there is a limit to how many lessons can be completed per day within a single course. However, more lessons can be completed per day if the user switches to a different course. The restriction seems pointless since there’s a loophole. Also, allowing the user to complete any number of lessons per day within a single course would be ideal. I understand the reason for the restriction is the Hadith. Yet, the user should have the freedom to follow the Hadith, since he/she can choose to follow Islam. Following the practices of Islam should be encouraged, but not forced, since there is no compulsion in religion. Moreover, new mothers with infants whose sleep cycle is like a rollercoaster should be able to complete as many lessons as possible while the baby sleeps. Once the baby wakes up, the mother’s time is very restricted due to the nature of carrying for an infant. Allowing the user to complete as many lessons within a single course would be helpful and beneficial.

Widget

Similar to Duolingo, a widget option that changes color when the streak is close to being broken.

Back Button for Previous Slide

Letting us go back to see the previous slides would help to make sure we haven’t missed anything, without having to restart the lesson.

Price vs Value

Assalaamu Alaikum, Jibreel is a great looking app with slick design but as it stands I don’t think the price is aligned with the value. One lesson a day is not enough content for the money paid. Understand this is still new app and more content will be added but I feel the app is too restrictive given it is a paid app. Whilst in development, I think the app should be cheaper if maintaining the one a day model. Or allow users access to the other lessons. Though appreciate it may lead to some users completed all the lesson is the app with a lag until new content is added

More lessons in one day

I can see from previous posts that people have requested to be able to do more lessons in one day, and the answer is that it has been resolved; however, I did a few then it locked me out from all others and said I have to come back tomorrow. I started at the beginning, so a lot of it I already knew and was excited to move forward.

Keyboard window appears but the app scroll is locked so you can’t scroll down to submit feedback. Also the keyboard doesn’t dismiss so the only way out is exiting the lesson review.

Family Sharing

I want to request Apple Family Sharing for the subscription since we want to get it for our family but the subscription fee is too high to get it individually. Thank you.

Resume from where you left off

For progress within a class to be remembered, so that you are able to resume from where you left off when not completing a full lesson but only part way through, May need to be optimised to reset for the lesson once it’s completed when revisiting lesson

Monthly subscription

Hi, I’ve been using the free trial for a week and I’m considering to pay for the subscription because I enjoy the app so much and I’d like to continue the lessons but as a student with multiple expenses already, I feel that a viable option that could be affordable for some would be a Monthly subscription. I’d be joyful if this was added, and would most definitely support it.

Notifications

No matter how many times I set it to give notifications, it never has. Streaks have been missed twice now due to no fault of mine. I should not be expected to pay £60 for something that can’t fulfil basic requirements.
